I'm Dr. Tia Harris, a passionate and dedicated Educational Consultant, Professional Development Trainer, and Parent Education Advocate. With over 23 years of experience as a high school counselor, coupled with 24 years of service in the DC Air National Guard focusing on leadership, morale, welfare, and resource management, and currently a Community School Coordinator, I have developed a deep understanding of the critical need for collaboration between schools, families, and communities.
My journey in education has been built on the principles of resilience, leadership, community engagement, and program development. As a former high school counselor, I excelled at creating programs that addressed attendance challenges, student behavior issues, and family engagement. My dedication to supporting students, parents, and educators led me to expand my expertise through consulting, training, and leadership development.
My mission is to help schools, parents, and communities work together to overcome challenges, improve student outcomes, and create a positive, supportive environment for learning and growth.
